Please Note: The audio has been updated for better sound quality.
This audiobook was created based on Clayton Christensen's landmark book The Innovator's Dilemma. This was Mr. Christensen's synopsis of his book for the Harvard Business Review. The audio tracks listed here cover the key elements of Mr. Christensen's book. This audiobook emphasizes the Idea in Brief "Does my organization have the right resources, processes, values, and team to innovate?" Then it covers the right structure for your specific type of innovation. He identifies where capabilities reside, in resources, processes, and values. He then addresses the migration of capabilities, illustrates it with the example of Digital Equipment (DEC), defines sustaining versus disruptive innovation, how to create capabilities to cope with change - internally, in a spinout, or an acquisition - and how to fit the tool to the task.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, the recording was so poorly done that it is distracting. What didn’t you like about Deaver Brown’s performance?
He has poor tone and voice inflection. Clearly not done in a sound studio or with a halfway decent microphone.Only slightly helpful

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I guess its a good summary of the full book, but the audio quality and narration are terrible. It reminds of me of a podcast, yet even those have better quality. I know this was a cheap download, but I was a little surprised to Audible let this one through. Maybe if you need a refresher on The Innovators Dilemma listen to this, but otherwise stay away.Terrible Quality
