I enjoyed this mystery with romance. There were lots of twists and turns. I Iiked Kate and Mike. Narrator Lise Jones did a great job.

Kate goes from liar, seductress, and user to martyr and truth sayer. I couldn't abide Kate for much of the book until she was willing to change and I prove herself as a descent human being. Mike deserved the truth and love, hopefully he got both. I think it was wrong to lie to Claire about her mom. She's old enough and deserved the truth. What is gained from lies????? I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.
