low voice

the reader kept lowering her voice and I had to rewind numerous times just to hear what was read.

Good book!

This story was good! I really like the secrets, mystery, and suspense between the interactions of the characters. The story clearly illustrated the past and present life of the characters. I could not stop listening to this book. The ending was a clear surprise. Nice!

Sad

It was a very depressing story of grief, loss, addiction and codependency. It was also hard to like any of the characters, because they were painted with a sad brush. I finished it though. Narration was decent.

The Guilty Wife

Although I finished this book, I thought it was very dark, depressive. My curiosity made me keep on reading, but it was very slow.

the narrator was so hard to listen to.

the narrator reads in circles. like the being of the sentence is high pitched and easy to hear and then the end of her sentence is so low and are to hear. there where many words I had to rewind to hear.. its terrible! i could only listen to a 1/3 of the book and I had to stop. the story seems good but I can't deal.

Be prepared (good story)

It is a very good book. I love the story very much. I kept trying to guess what was going on. I finally figured it out but the book was almost over by that time. Great writings

But the audio is horrible you have to listen to it almost at full blast and then you have to turn it down because the narrator gets loud. But sometimes she whispers so quietly you can’t hear her and you have to rewind it. I’m 37 and I can hear things pretty good still. OMG it was horrible.

Love the Twist

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
I was hooked from the start. Some reviews said it was boring and the narrator wasn't good. I think the narrator was awesome. Great story.
I'm so glad I went ahead and chose to listen.

Terrible Narrator!

Ugh! I try not to be an overly negative reviewer but this narration was one of the worst I have ever experienced. And I listen to A LOT of books. The cadence of her voice is awful and her volume trails off so significantly at the end of each sentence I couldn’t find an acceptable volume to listen consistently.

Too big of Twist

The ending comes out of nowhere. There is no hints, possibilities, or apparent connections until the end.
