Was good

The story was good, narration was engaging. I love the accent 😂😂 finished the book in one day.

Shocking ending!

This is a great story that kept me guessing right up to the twisty unpredictable ending! Loved it!!
Performance was also on point!

Unexpected twist!

Well done small book. I think it is a well-written suspenseful mystery that I am glad I downloaded from the catalog to try. I believe the ending was very lackluster though. I didn't see the conclusion of the disappearance coming. I suspected the ex had more involvement than she did. It was a great distraction and easy listen. I am giving it a 3.5 star rating and will be looking for more books by this author.

I thought it would be predictable, I was wrong.

The minute I started this book I thought OK I’ve already figured out what’s going on and how it’s going to end. But I was wrong and I’m happy I was wrong because it’s actually quite a good book. Nice twist at the end. That’s all I’ll say because I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone.

The ending was just annoying. The whole story was dragged out. I hoped it would be as good as books by Lucy Foley but sadly it wasn’t.

Shalini Boland's best yet! Get it!

Started slightly slow. Wondered when the exciting, suspenseful part was coming. The plot gets fully engrossing about 1 third into the story. 2 or 3 times I thought I had figured it out only to be thrown for a loop. Nothing seems as it looks. As the resolution to the mystery unfolds, I was left dumbfounded by the twist I never saw coming; and then came the epilog...completely stunning! Highly recommend!

Unexpected twist

Mouth WIDE open at the ending. Did not see this coming! 4 stars. I recommend this book if you like suspense.

Gripping Plot, Unexpected Twists

This one had me hooked from the beginning! I loved the story line and the main character was well developed. The twist caught me by surprise!

Not what I expected

There are some good little twists. I enjoyed reading until the FMC became the liar. I don’t believe the inner monologue of the FMC was portrayed well given the expected ending.
It was an ok read.
