This person seems to be obsessed with an image of Leland from the past, and because of it, we now have a crime boss on our tail and a bounty on Leland’s head. The stalker has no idea that Leland comes with multiple ex-assassins, a sketchy Scotsman, and the chief of police who likes to pretend he doesn’t want to be involved.

I adore my life with Leland just the way it is (someone, please burn down The Fence), and no one is going to ruin that (I will pay well).

They’d better be afraid to sleep because the Sandman is coming (and if they took down The Fence while they were at it, I wouldn’t mind).

Thus whole series is the best. I absolutely love and recommend this series every chance I get. HOME RUN!! OUT OF THE PARK!!

Dynamic Duo Strikes Again

Literally everything that Alice and Michael create together is always pure gold. I cannot emphasize how much I love this series and how much it makes me laugh! I'm so happy we got another book in this series and sincerely hope it won't be the last. I could listen/read about these characters for the rest of my life and still not have enough. This book will take you on another whacky adventure with Leland and the gang and will have you laughing and feeling all the feels along the way. I love this found family so dang much. As always Michael impacts the story even more with his emotional performance and brings each character to life even more. Time to binge the entire series again!

Perfect again

Love the story and the audio. The different voices really bring this story alive. Definitely recommend

it was cute and funny I love the character growth of each character how Elias is more sassy now and how close lelend to all the other characters and not concert to Cassel and the teasing of new book of Micah and Beverley also I love the friendship of Elias and Beverley like they have mini group Inside the main group and the have a new members Sonia and defective Patel and cam over all great amazing book also void is cute

Family Ties

This book had such a different feel to it. I’ve loved every book in the series, and I loved this one just as much. It felt as if there was more focus on Leland as a family man, and it was written so well. We get to see growth in Leland and in Waylon. The humor Alice Winters is a master at writing was still prevalent throughout the book, it just felt like the emotions were different. They’re deeper, more familial. Leland has always been terrified of the attachments he’s forming because he’s afraid someone he loves will be taken from him. In this book, it felt less like terror and more like Leland was able to accept someone could be hurt, but he could focus more on the solution to prevent that from happening. His relationship with Jackson felt more settled than ever. Their dynamic was stronger in this book. Jackson has always loved Leland unconditionally, and it felt like Leland is finally confident in that. Waylon was a big part of the story throughout the story, and I loved it so much. He’s settling into the family and trusting Leland and Jackson truly do want him there. He’s also able to relax enough be a typical teenager, even when new trouble is afoot. Leland, Jackson, and Waylon really grow as a family throughout the book. As always, Michael Ferraiuolo brought Leland and company to life in stellar fashion. When I read this series, I hear Michael’s voice in my head. He does such a wonderful job with each character’s individual personality. I’m off now to listen to it again!
