Endearing and funny, Perfect Paranormal Rom-Com

What a funny and sweet paranormal romance! Mal and Ethan, both clueless, honest, and endearing in their own ways, somehow get their act together & end up together - the "how they got there" is one 'hell' of a story! Unexpected outcomes, consequences, allies and enemies, these two get help & hindrance along the way in various forms. Some of their ideas regarding solutions to their dilemma are - interesting. No worries, this is a wonderfully written rom-com with amazingly likable MCs & side characters is well worth the time to read it. Laughter is the best medicine, there's lots of love & cause for laughter to be found within these pages. I can't wait for book two!
The audio version was even better! The narrator had some fun with the voicing in this one, and it worked so well. His timing was perfect for the comedy, and it was easy to simply be swept away into the story. Beautiful job author and narrator, both!

Funny and heartwarming

I loved this audio! The narration was fantastic and the story was exactly what I was looking for—cute and funny.

Hellishly Adorable 😍

The characters were made for eachother, Mal the demon, is sooo adorably bad at being well...bad. I loved as hard as he tried to fulfill his delivish goal of trying to capture Ethan's soul by helping him get the attention of his narcissistic a**hole crush, to prove his worth down in hell & not the disappointing joke that his boss sees him as. As u guess it shanagaians ensue instead LOL. Mel couldn't help but be drawn to Ethan's radiant light & goodness.

Ethan is a awkward, anxious hopeless romantic librarian is trying but failing at his own helpless pull toward Mel; as he sees the goodness that still lurks within Mel no matter how much he attests that he's a proper demon.

John Solo's performance was pure perfection & just the right amount of low-angst cheesy goodness. I loved the ending of both Mel & in restropect Ethan's protective BFF Noah, not being what they appear to be on the surface...I'm happy that these 2 found their HEA despite all the seemly impossible odds

Mistaken Demon

This is book one in the newest Silvana Falcon series. It's a cute title and a rather sweet story. Paranormal lite when compared to the author's Monsters of Veridia. This is an entertaining tale about a librarian who is willing to sell his soul for a 'great' love and the demon who writes the contract.
Ethan is a romantic with a soul so pure that Hell will do anything to get him. Malphas is a golden retriever of a demon. His attempts to collect soul contracts always end up with him assisting the soul and losing them to Heaven. Getting Ethan to sign is his last chance of getting out of Hell's basement file room.
They fall in love and it's a race against time to get Ethan out of his contract.
The story has so many laugh out loud moments. From the summoning. You can use coriander instead of laurel, they're both herbs and both green. To Malphas' terrible spell casting efforts.
The story is nicely paced. Good worldbuilding. Noah is a great secondary and sounding board. The evil demons are Snidley Whiplash villains.
The only negative for me was John Solo's narration. I cannot love his voice, it's sometimes grating on my nerves. But overall, this is an original, funny and fun story.

Paranormal romcom

Love this new series by Silvana Falcon. She always creates such well-rounded, empathetic characters with such snarky villains who you just love to hate by the time they try to do their worst to our hero and his love. Great side characters and a kick-azz best friend who just happens to be a librarian.
John Solo did a great job bringing these guys and their story to life. He works in Discord if you want to drop in sometime and enjoy a behind the scenes peek. Look for The Haven and John Solo's Owlery... Hoot Hoot
