Endearing and funny, Perfect Paranormal Rom-Com

What a funny and sweet paranormal romance! Mal and Ethan, both clueless, honest, and endearing in their own ways, somehow get their act together & end up together - the "how they got there" is one 'hell' of a story! Unexpected outcomes, consequences, allies and enemies, these two get help & hindrance along the way in various forms. Some of their ideas regarding solutions to their dilemma are - interesting. No worries, this is a wonderfully written rom-com with amazingly likable MCs & side characters is well worth the time to read it. Laughter is the best medicine, there's lots of love & cause for laughter to be found within these pages. I can't wait for book two!
The audio version was even better! The narrator had some fun with the voicing in this one, and it worked so well. His timing was perfect for the comedy, and it was easy to simply be swept away into the story. Beautiful job author and narrator, both!

Summoning gone wrong

I love Ethan and Mal. John Solo did an amazing job giving these characters voices. I enjoyed reading this book and loved listening to this audio of it. Mal's attempts at helping Ethan find love with his crush was hilarious the way things went away made me laugh. I enjoyed how their relationship grew and how they came to care for one another. This was a fun book to listen too.

Entertaining

Hell’s Most Incompetent Demon by Silvana Falcon is a comedy LGBTQ + romance. John solo did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, comedic, witty, funny, exciting and more. Hell’s Most Incompetent Demon is the first book in Supernatural Sucker series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. highly recommended

Loved It!

I read this book earlier in the year and loved it (original ebook review below). So I was excited to listen to it in audio. I've listened to a number of John Solo's narrated books, so I couldn't wait to see his interpretation. I liked that I had no trouble telling the characters apart by their voices. I especially liked his voice for Mal.

Hearing this book out loud elevated the humor of the story, and reminded me how cute these two were. And once again for poor Malphas, soul harvesting didn't go according to plan at all. But this time, with the best outcome.

"You're the worst demon in the history of Hell." Beelzebrock massaged his temples. "The actual worst. I have the metrics to prove it." He gestured at the scrolls. "You know what your problem is, Malphas? You care. It's embarrassing."

I loved this book. It was such a sweet romance and the premise was unique and intriguing. I loved both Ethan and Malphas. Mal wasn't a "good" demon because he'd saved souls instead of taking them- every since time. (I love that about him... and it's adorable!) Shy and lonely librarian Ethan's summoning finally got him out of Hell archives where he files prophesies all day. All Mal had to do to claim Ethan's soul is to help him lose his virginity to the man he loves. That shouldn't be too hard, right? The mishaps were hilarious and I couldn't get enough of these two. They were so cute together! I can't wait for the next book. Even just the title is hilarious! 5 stars.

funny with a touch of dark

Ok so, almost everything I have read from this author has been on the darker side... this is practically rom com. Mal is wonderfully incompetent and leads to so hysterical moments, but he and Ethan bring out the "best" in each other. It is still a little dark for a Hallmark but lots of fun and a great start to this world.
John Solo does an excellent reading, snarky with a hint of blink blink.
