And looming over everything is a prophecy of doom that sounds suspiciously like it's about Aria. Vivian might be facing the end of days, just as soon as she can get her daughter dressed and out of the door . . .

Superb performance

This was a great story for adults and teens, one that can be listened to with older children.

Parents of diverse learners- this one’s for you.

It’s a story about a mundane family who finds themselves newly part of a monster school in a monster community. But it’s also the story of a family trying to manage parenting a kiddo who doesn’t behave like the other kids, and accepting that she isn’t broken but different, that they shouldn’t be embarrassed because you can’t change the bias of others with overwhelming guilt or turning yourself inside out to please them. Be you, you did not break your child and you have more allies than you think. You are enough. And also magic stories are fun!

Fun fantasy book with a good message and ending

The author has great character development and humor. This book is delightful!! This was such a fun listen, I was hooked from the beginning.

A delightful romp

What would you do if your kindergartner was suddenly a werewolf? This tells us what one family did when it happened to them. Just the right blend of action and cozy with thoughtful characterization and excellent understanding of the human condition. I wish I could be friends with some of the characters in this book. The narrator did a top notch job. Highly recommend.

What a delight

If you’re looking for rich people drama wrapped up in a (little) bit of a high stakes magical school this is the book for you. So often I flipped between being teary eyed in one moment and then raging the next. There is so much in here about belonging, bullying, change, special needs kids, feeling lost, found family, and of course, a healthy dose of therapy.
