Wonderful story

What a wonderful story! Everyone should read this book, both young and old and those inbetween. It brings to mind this excerpt taken from Yeats:
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

A Potential Classic

I listen to MANY books, and this will surely be among and most memorable this year. It’s a simple story: an old man, living in a nursing home, is deeply depressed… until he meets retired actor Frank Adams. Slowly, his life begins to turn around, and he realizes there may be more to live for than he had thought. An excellent perspective on aging and death and living life to the fullest. This book reminds us that it’s never too late to change. Also, narration is 10/10, go Aidan Kelly!

Thoroughly enjoyed

Curmudgeon Joel residing in an assisted living facility wants to end his life after the death of his wife . His demeanor and relationships change after he gets a new roommate,
Frank. Through their talks, adventures and misadventures, Joel gradually changes and becomes the best version of himself.
Narration was great, making it easy for the listener to distinguish among the characters.
Story was funny, meaningful and heartwarming.

Two fun men

I enjoyed this book. It has so much to say. It deals with despair and friendship. And finding life in the end. I strongly recommend this book.

Excellent

This was a really good book. It’s really nice to read a book about different topics when to read a book about the elderly and how we treat our elderly and how our elderly feel changes a lot of perspective when a book like this is written and it’s important thank you very much.
