It's OK

It's a short book but it moves at the speed of a slice of life novel, so not much happens yet the details and interactions are not all that interesting either. Somehow, though, it still has its charms so I keep soldiering on while pretending that it will get better eventually.

It gets annoying quick

this book is a bunch of Ignoring massive plot holes while sidesteping small ones. the character is so nieve and nice he becomes a yes man rug for everyone to walk on. that author tried every way to keep the MC from getting any confidence in himself. when he does he makes a mistake that he has to spend the next 20 mins beating himself up for. the random interludes just rehashing the already told story line by line with the only difference being a new perspective. I can't listen to this anymore

Stick with it

Think of this as the middle point in a good book. there's no exciting foe at the end. This is just the transition between one major plot and the next. It's not filler because setup happens, so don't skip it, but it's a bit slower than the last few.

Money grab

This book is so boring and short. Nothing of significance happens. The MC just gets stepped on the entire book while internally complaining but never says anything but yes.

Well I guess you get this, when they decide to chop the story into multiple sections that are short running... you end up with that draft middle part but nobody really cares about.
That's exactly what this section is.
Love the run of the anime, and the book follows form, sad part is is this is the boring part...all the book I had to run it on higher speed to get through it.
Said all this before but they decided to drop my review to increase the review of the book so I had to come back and put another one in.
