Why? He didn't steal money nor did he have inappropriate sexual relationships. Following a revelation from God, he began to preach that a loving God would not condemn most of the human race to hell because they are not Christian. He preaches that God belongs to no religion. Wow!

Excellent story of what can happen when a Christian actually tries to hear God/Holy Spirit instead of blindly swallowing eternal damnation/tithing church dogma.

I was kicked out of my church years ago for questioning their teachings but didn't lose all I had.

Inspiring and about as biblically accurate a representation of God as I've ever heard -- and yes I do read my bible quite a bit!

Powerful and poignant

He addresses every flaw in the evangelical church with the simple premise of inclusion and it’s poignant. Bishop Pearson was a titan who ended up being cast aside by the church for loving everyone.

The courage to embrace truth

Bishop Pearson's journey from Pentacostal to the Gospel of Inclusion one worth studying. This gospel is not new, as the Bishop states. The courage to walk away from decades of traditional ministry and face the wrath of the religious establishment, makes this book all the more powerful.
The Bishop employs, biblical text and scholarship to support his transformation, this, a mature believer can appreciate. It is difficult to argue the merits of an inclusive gospel in the face of this evidence, when at its core is love. Christ after all teaches love.

One of my favorites. About the most Christ Conscious move as one can make. He put it all on the line for the sake of what he believes is the gods-honest truth!

A great message

Finally a view of the gospel that is actually Good News to all men.

This book is a great help to those struggling with conforming to evangelical christianity. I have been walking through a period of questioning the traditions and theologies of the church. It's comforting to know there are people out there who are asking the same questions and finding an ultimate answer in an infinity and unconditionally loving God.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

A Breath Of Fresh Air

Thank you Dr. Pearson for your insightful and spirit filled book. I have long not believed in hell and wondered why the Christians God showed signs of paranoid schizophrenic behavior. I mentioned to a parent that I didn’t believe in hell and that God didn’t send people there. I was immediately told I didn’t believe in there God. It hurt a lot.
