  • 811: How Science Moms are Protecting the Places We Love from Unnatural Disasters
    Sep 23 2024
We all have causes and beliefs that we care deeply about, things we wish we could change in the world. And while it can sometimes feel like our individual actions aren’t enough to make a real impact, today’s conversation will remind you that we can create meaningful change—especially when we come together. Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is the Chief Scientist at The Nature Conservancy, a professor at Texas Tech University, and the bestselling author of Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World. She’s also a co-founder of Science Moms, a movement where moms unite to protect the future of their children by taking on climate change together—proof that when passionate people join forces, incredible things happen. Today, we’re going behind the scenes of the powerful “Act of Man” campaign, a movement that’s changing how we talk about extreme weather and climate-related disasters. Join millions at http://actofman.com to join her in her mission to protect the places we love! In our conversation, Dr. Hayhoe will share why shifting the way we communicate about climate change is so important, how this campaign is moving people from belief to action, and how partnerships are making an even bigger impact. Plus, she gives us real, tangible ways that you can get involved—whether you’re a parent, a business owner, or just someone who wants to make a difference! • 810: How These Course Creators Built Profitable Businesses Without a Big Following
    Sep 18 2024
I believe that every single person has a digital course inside of them, they just don’t know how to get it out of them. Not everyone knows how to just START creating a digital course… I sure didn’t, which is why I chose to learn from Amy Porterfield. And you can too at jennakutcher.com/dca! Over the past several years, over 50,000 business owners (myself included!) have taken a chance on themselves and created their own courses with Amy’s proven system and experienced life-changing results. In fact, in a moment I’m going to introduce you to 3 of those business owners: Sharon, Yesenia, and Tavia, who enrolled in Digital Course Academy, took action, and now have a reliable stream of income and REAL results with their own digital course (using what they already knew). Today, you’ll hear their before, during, and after stories of Digital Course Academy, the reservations they had and why those were kicked to the curb, their biggest pieces of advice for those considering joining, and more. And if they inspire you to create, launch, and sell your own course successfully, you don’t have to figure it out alone! Enroll in Digital Course Academy at at jennakutcher.com/dca before the doors close on September 28th at 7pm EST and I’ll send you my entire BONUS SUITE of resources (valued at $1,997)! life changing

It is no exaggeration when I say this podcast changed my life. After being laid off from my dream job of marketing director in 2020, I felt lost. It was in this slump that I decided to bet on myself and put my COVID assistance money into creating my own business. As we all know millions of women left the workforce in 2020 and most likely became the emergency childcare for their children. This was my story, homeschooling my 2yo, 4yo, and 8yo during the day and grinding into the wee hours of 4-5am on my business. Cue Jenna Kutcher, there is nothing more inspiring than being a new entrepreneur listening to successful entrepreneurs talk about their early 24/7 grind while you, yourself are living that grind. Honestly, without this podcast, I'm not sure I would've made it. I was TIRED, stressed, and stretched thin. But here I am 3 years later with a thriving 6 figure business and I am just so grateful. I'm so grateful to Jenna and her team and all the guests that share their stories. Ok, this sounds like an award acceptance speech 🤣😂 but getting to this space really is so rewarding. Thank you Jenna!!🙏❤️

My new go to!

I love hearing about such a variety of things, even if I can't relate to something I still don't mind hearing about a topic!

My favorite business podcast (as a Very small artist)

I Love this podcast. I'm a new listener and am only on episode 30, but even 7 years later these episodes are So relevant and So helpful as I'm working on finding my footing as a new small artist/entrepreneur. (I truly think this podcast has helpful advice for anyone and everyone, Jenna is so sweet and so encouraging it's like having a personal cheerleader). <3
