Could not hold my attention

I like the rest of the books in this series but this one was just seemed slow going and more of the same with nothing unexpected. It just could not hold my attention. I believe I’ve already returned it once (realized after buying again)

Better and better

I love this series. Although each book builds off the previous books, each plot can stand alone. The characters grow and develop in each book which gives the the series a soap opera feel. This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series. It just gets better and better.

Don’t let Christmas tile fool you

Liked the evolution of characters, while adding a twist to a who done it & why. Wasn’t sure I wanted a “Christmas book” & considered not purchasing it. This book was set around the Christmas season but didn’t go much further. Liked the way the books are sequential but can be “read”as a stand alone. Narrator brings characters to life, but at times I have to go back to tell who was speaking. Maybe it’s just me. Have read books, but thoroughly enjoy the narration. Hope to “hear”more in this series.

I wish this series would never end!

It's very entertaining and the characters are too! The way holidays and special occasions are utilized is wonderful.
