When is the next book coming out?

I love this book series. The story lines and the characters are great. The narrator is terrific. I haved listened to the entire series twice. I need another.

Another good mystery the mediums have to solve!

I think this has been one of my favorite books in the Haunting Danielle series. I feel like the Beach Drive Mediums are finding their stride! Now I have to wait for the next one!

Favorite Series

I will say this one at the end made me tear up the most. One of my favorites from the series. I’m so sad I have now finished every book. I have a soft spot for all the characters except Kelly and her mom they drive me crazy lol. Love Maria & Eva’s relationship. Walt & Danielle love, love, love! Heather & Chris brother sister relationship love it all.

happy to see another installment

This story is best enjoyed if you’ve read the series but it’s not absolutely required. There’s a repeating cast of characters that was built up one story at a time from the first when Danielle first drove up to check out her inheritance of Marlow House.
I’m guessing this can sort of be considered under the ‘cozy’ genre, as much as Agatha Christie can. Like a first cousin, they’re closely related but not the same.
I’m amazed at how the author can continually build interesting scenarios that can be odd but eventually come together to make sense. Miss Marple stories used to give me a similar kind of benign day-to-day underpinning to the nefarious plotting and activity. And just plain nosiness. Holmes just adds the ghost characters and the people who can see and talk to them;-)
The only downside for me is the occasional disingenuous person or comment, or non-action, that drives me up the wall. This story it was the sightings of the two men. Heather sighting them at the restaurant and Brian talking her down - suit/Sunday & sunglasses/sunny made sense. Not being more proactive after they then followed her into the store didn’t make sense.
Actually, the worst was Carla blabbing individual business to everyone, including strangers or non residents. It’s one thing to ‘keep it in the family’, but it’s an unhealthy pathology to need to spew to strangers. It sets a negative vibe for the town; an edginess that makes it not a happy place to visit.
Nordlinger does a barely adequate job of narration. She has a pleasant enough voice and disappears into the story going on, but needs major work on character differentiation.
The book and series is definitely still a recommend.

Loves

I’ve been listening to this series since the first book and I’ve loved them all! The reader feels like they know the characters and is eager to see what happens next to them. In the beginning you really get to know Walt and Danielle and follow their story then Lily and Ian. I adore the side characters and would love to have had a Walt and Marie in my life. I hope the series continues. These people feel like friends.

I Love This Series

I loved the twists in this book. While I have enjoyed every book in the series, I feel that this one opens the door to more connections leading to more books in the future.
Dane, Laura, Christopher, his grandmother, and all of the friends, will they continue to connect? So many questions. 💗
