Sad aspect in this story
There were historically accurate storylines within this book that were heartbreaking. The women of today have no idea how far they have come since the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries-especially as to how society relates to marriage and the wife’s place therein. Can’t imagine how June living in same town might affect Ian and Lily’s marriage and raising of Conner. Excited to start the next book.

Respect, and good Humor
I love mystery - cozy is just more pleasant.
Yet I often wonder just how often can one location experience murder.
Well, Bobbi Holmes does not disappoint.
With family coming in - and too many unwanted surprises - I kept thinking ‘who is going to be murdered’ and what new character(s) will appear that may be a murder victim.
I don’t want to give anymore details that could clue you in to my answer - but this had good historical information as well as a wonderful mystery solved.
Read this book to find out how it all goes together.
Lovely surprises in store.
Now for the insane busybodies - seriously, stop intruding on other people’s business.

I really like this series but not the narrator.
