For the Decebal men… Love was never there, until love decided to crown them.

Blood made them all brothers, but trauma made them kings. In this last installment of The Filth Kings, Detavio, Monster, and Octavio are dangerously close to peace... Until the past claws its way back into the present to disrupt and reclaim. Just when Detavio and Monster started to believe that they deserved the women who dared to love them… A supposed buried enemy rises, making both brothers face the ugliest parts of who they were to protect what they've become.

Octavio is thriving running his filming studio until a beautiful and curvaceous woman by the name of Rylie Rose imposes by forcing her way into his life. In her mind, Octavio will be hers one way or another.

The Filth Kings were built on filth, betrayal, hurt, and mishaps. Not everyone will live to see another day…

Okay… The Filth King: Book 2 really said “you thought the drama was enough in book one? Think again.” Because why am I stressed, emotional, AND invested all at the same time?!

The secrets?? OUT OF CONTROL.The relationships?? Messy as hell. The tension?? Through. The. Roof.

Every time I thought a character was about to get it together… BOOM… another revelation smacks you in the face. And the emotional layers in this one hit way deeper. Like now I’m sitting here side-eyeing everybody but still rooting for outcomes I probably shouldn’t be rooting for 😩😂

Materpiece definitely turned the intensity up in this sequel. The passion is louder, the betrayals cut deeper, and the character struggles feel even more real.

Not gonna lie… this book had me talking to the pages like the characters could hear me. I need emotional recovery time… and also the next installment immediately.

Now the narration by Trei Taylor and Midnight Michael was top MF tier. The passion and emotion put into these characters had me feeling everything and is a chef kiss on both cheeks and smack dab on the lips too!

Stellar Read

Nothing at all. Every single word is meant 💕. Each person's emotions were real. Monster is the 💣.

The changing of attitudes.

It was a good story although I hated that the author chose to included several flashback scenes that were written exactly the same way in book 1. It was recycled filler that didn’t add any value to this book. I feel slightly cheated because these credits ain’t free beloved! Other than that, I love that it had a lgbtq+ storyline that actually included a transgender person. We get more of Octavio’s story (he felt like an afterthought in book 1). Monster does not play about his family! Loved how the brothers come together and formed a tight bond. Hated the increased use of the term “FEMALE”. Eeeeeeeeyuuuck! Trei and Midnight did they thing as per usual. I’ll be back for book 3.

Good story but I was slightly irritated

I listened to book 1 again before listening to this one thinking it would make for a smooth flow but NOPE... that only highlighted the discrepancies and made the copy and paste of multiple chapters more annoying. After Detavio's 1st chapter, I was wondering how Angel would become a character I'd want to see win but when everything came out, I still didnt find her actions justified or forgivable. It was even worse toward the end when she had her moment with her mother and called her weak then said some stuff about how she would have put her child first... GIRL! You legit had a chance to be strong and put your child first and didn't so stop being a hypocrite 🙄

Disappointed

Book 2 was absolutely amazing. The character development is like I watched monster grow up right before my eyes showing love and protection to those close to him. The three brothers were able to stick together in the end and handle impurity one final time shout out to masterpiece for this amazing read.

Looking for a filth King
