West Calloway is rich, arrogant, and my brother’s best friend. Now we’re faking a relationship in public… while he gives me dating lessons in private.

When a stalker forces me out of my apartment, my brother insists I stay somewhere safe—in his best friend’s legendary estate. With the tall, handsome, frustrating man I once had a silly crush on, while he never liked me.

But then West suggests we fake date to send a message: I’m taken and well protected. I agree on one condition… he helps me practice real dating.

I don’t know how to date, and West doesn’t do love. It’s perfect. Soon, we’re practicing it all in secret. Dates. Kissing. Sleeping in the same bed. The only rule? My brother can never find out.

West learns what I like, buys me gifts, praises me, and helps me to stop people-pleasing. Maybe I’ll even ask him to help with my virginity, too...

But the way he’s looking at me now? It’s not part of any lesson. And when he touches me, it feels like he’s forgotten this is just practice...

Loved this book! I was intrigued with the storyline, and loved knowing/ being able to picture their back stories. Super happy with the ending!

Really good storyline!

I love Olivia Hayle. I had read this on my kindle first and loved it, naturally. I was excited for the audiobook. Kelsey Navarro Foster was fabulous as Nora. I had a lot of trouble with Aiden Snow, however. He sounded so robotic that I actually had to stop listening to research and see if he was AI. It took me a long time for me to get used to his narration. The weird thing is that when he did voices other than West's he sounded like a real human. I'm not sure why the choice was made for West to sound like the robot, Johnny 5 from Short Circuit but it was very distracting. Still, nothing can ruin an Olivia Hayle book.

Duet narration, if you're checking the reviews to figure that out.
I mostly read/listen to dark romance, so this was a total departure from what I'm use to. It's sweet. it's romantic. it's still spicy and obsessive, and I ate it up If praise is your thing, this book is full of that.
The narrators captured the characters perfectly. I read this book a year before listening to it, and they sounded almost exactly as I had imagined them. Well done!

Great change of pace

Really enjoyed the first book of this new series and can’t wait for the next. Unique plot and well rounded characters. Super spicy and exceptional narration.

Loved this story when I read it. Like the duet narration, but feel like male narrator is miscast. He’s great as a growly protector in other roles, but misses on the snarky sarcastic banter that makes this character special. The female narrator is okay maybe a bit one tone
