Two rival families. A marriage between their heirs. In public, it’s love. But in private? It’s war.

Aiden Prince is the arrogant heir to the old money family that destroyed mine. He’s hazel-eyed and sharp-jawed, the golden boy of high society.

I’m the girl who’s never belonged in his world.

At sixteen, I poured my soda on his loafers. He told me to lick it off.

At eighteen, I learned the truth—Aiden’s family took everything from mine. I vowed to make everyone who mocked us eat their words.

At thirty, I have the chance to get back everything Aiden’s family stole…but I have to marry Aiden to do it.

In public, we’re the perfect couple. But in private? We’re playing a dangerous game—the first one to desire the other loses.

I’ll never give an inch to Aiden…until I see who he is beneath his cold exterior.

He’ll do anything to protect me.

His touch sets me on fire.

His world doesn’t want me. My family doesn’t want him.

We promised to divorce once our deal is done…and we each lose everything if we fall in love.

This story was full on angst but it was worth it. The push and pull was perfect! The narrators did a fantastic job as always. My heart was clenched so tight all the way to the end. The only complaint I have is the big blow up scene at the end. I’m reeling at the unknown of who spilled the beans. I can’t believe she didn’t tell us!
I’m excited for the next book but I feel like my heart is going to be ripped to shreds.

Long but worth it!

I was not expecting how fantastic this book was. Of course added bonus was the narration by Andi Arndt, and the male narrator Aiden Snow. His voice brought to life such emotion and depth. I loved it!!

ALC Review:
Duet Narration by Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow
4.5⭐️

“I wanted to see inside your heart, because you wouldn’t let me in. I figured this was the next best thing.”

Tropes:
Enemies-to-lovers
Marriage of convenience
Rival families
Forced proximity
Power Dynamics / Social Inequality
Protective MMC/Strong-willed FMC

Aiden and Emory’s banter is razor-sharp and endlessly entertaining, but what really stood out to me is how similar they are beneath their defenses—both guarded, proud, and deeply shaped by family legacies they didn’t choose. Their relationship feels earned, layered, and emotionally satisfying.

Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow were phenomenal. They didn’t just narrate—they embodied these characters. Andi captured Emory’s strength, vulnerability, and wit perfectly, while Aiden Snow brought depth and intensity to Aiden that completely transformed how I saw him. Their performances elevated every argument, every quiet moment, and every spark of desire.

Huge thanks to Sophia Travers for such a compelling story—this was done right.
