Author and philosopher Sydney Banks once again brings to life his wise and simple gardener as a voice through which Banks presents more implications of the Three Principles that create human reality, calling on us to realize that to fully understand the Principles is to liberate one's spirit. In this sequel to Sydney Banks’ book The Enlightened Gardener, two colleagues return to England to meet once again with the remarkable gardener whose simple yet profound philosophy made such a difference to their lives. Their questions and the gardener’s inspiring answers help the listener gain a deeper understanding of the message of wisdom and hope presented by the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought.

I imagine what this book contains must be valuable but the writing and the narration are so bad. for me, it is more than tedious to try to get through it. Silly me, I didn't listen to a sample before I bought it, I was just going on a recommendation of a good friend. I wish I could exchange this title.

As stated in the title the Enlightened Gardener contains and presents in a 'story' the concept that all things are really just one thing in inumerable forms. If you want the idea in total simply read the final chapter.

Do not be confused, this is not a story. This is a book of philosophy. Very little has gone into telling a compelling story, developing nuanced and interesting characters, or any form of plot. I trust the original was a better read and validates the title's popularity.

The narration is surprisingly good and made the experience of listening tipover into something enjoyable. I would have put this down if it were a physical book after the 3rd short chapter.
