When the end arrives, how far will you go to survive?

With over 4 million books sold, the number one best-selling and most prolific post-apocalyptic thriller author Mike Kraus brings a gripping tale of destruction, survival, and humanity like no one else can.

On a quiet evening like any other, virtually anything that uses fuel goes up in flames, killing billions in the first twenty-four hours alone. Remnants of governments reel as they try to deal with the destruction of their countries and decimation of their military infrastructure as their cities burn to the ground.

On a quiet beach in South Florida, Alice Burton and her two children have started the family vacation early - all that's left is for James to fly in from a conference in Colorado. When the small beach town they're staying in is consumed by fire, they're forced to seek help on foot - facing dangers both natural and manmade at every turn.

Meanwhile, at the Denver International Airport, James Burton hides beneath an overpass as cars and planes erupt in flame around him. His survival is not guaranteed, as a treacherous journey through the heart of Denver and beyond awaits him if he has any hope of reuniting with his family.

Back home, on their small farm outside East Lansing, Michigan, Alice's parents are house-sitting, and are about to experience the most intense test of their survival and homesteading skills that they could ever imagine.

This omnibus edition of The End of All Things contains all 6 books from the original series:

Solid story, maybe could have been a little shorter with some spots a little more details then needed. Well worth credit for one box set. Goor narration

Worth the credit!

The performance kept me from finishing, the story was good but I could not get past the actors attempts at women’s and children’s voices. Good grief.

Just read the book

I've listened to a bunch of books in this genre. This book series is great if you want

Tried and trued

This is like Hallmarks version of post apocalypse stories. nothing truly bad happens to the main characters or any good people they meet. the teenage kids practically say "aww shucks mom" when they're frustrated or mad. That being said it's a great fir families while traveling. the story itself isn't bad. they travel by multiple means (walking, horse back, cars, train) thru multiple states while interacting with all kinds of people and staying in varieties of places (tent cities, burned down barns, other peeps homes). But the story just doesn't have any edge or grit. Its just a little weak.

Story was decent. What killed it was the narrator. Odd pauses between sentences, and the whiny voice he used for the kids was like nails on a chalkboard after a while. Story needs a bit more research, several inaccuracies. Get Kevin Pierce to read it for you.

Horrible narrator.

I didn’t care for the narration. It seemed too descriptive and not enough character building. The characters just seemed to bounce along the unbelievable story line without apparent danger. The danger was described and not felt.

Not my favorite

Some relative parts and use of language that doesn’t seem to fit to the context of the story

Overall story is great.

while I enjoyed the story, I found the characters portrayed by the two young children to be slightly off and believable. I feel the characters needed to be a few years older to portray the abilities these characters had. I found the chapters that led us to unrelated parts of the world were just filler. They spoke of characters that were only in those chapters. It would have been more enjoyable for me if the effects on the rest of the world had been somehow woven into the main plot line.

As far as post-apocalyptic novels go, this was a fresh take on the subject and therefore stands out as an interesting take.

Kept me interested.

Excellent for family reading very sensitive.
Good focus on positive aspects of possibilities.
Characters were well rounded and easily related to.

Interwoven families.

Overall the books were good, i could’ve done without the splintered stories in France & California, they didn’t tie into the main stories. But in my opinion, the books would’ve been way better if they were read by someone other than the author, his voices need more work to be pulled off. All the women in the books sounded the same and the villain was a screeching weasel. I did end up listening to all the books and did enjoy them.
