Wow. this book is really good at first I was like to slow just like very another dark romance book , but I God good after that.

At twenty-one Daniela Moretti was callously exchanged in a business deal between her blackmailing father and Gian Silvestro.. bartered to a ruthless cruel man who loathes her and her family. This alliance would be no fairytale.. in fact it’s a dark nightmare filled with hate, secrets and lies. Behind Gian Silvestro’s forced marriage to Daniela Moretti.. anger rages within him that Moretti blood flows through his new wife’s blood. He freely admits and proves he’s the Devil but his new wife’s strength, fire and backbone brings out his possessive caring side. However, this is not a blessed beginning.. nor a love match yet.. and definitely not a happily ever after love story.. it’s a first born son and a first born daughter’s journey, growth and betrayal in an arranged marriage neither of them initially wanted.

Worth a credit? Yes, it gripped me from the Prologue to the last word with its intensity, unwanted attraction, sizzles, sex, chills and thrills etc.. etc.. etc and the dual POV narration was good too. But wow, the Prologue was dark.. and initially I wondered just how this gifted author was going to turn my dislike of the anti hero around.. but slowly she managed it. And she completely blindsided me with the shocking cliffhanger ending.. and also the chilling glimpse of the dark scenes that starts off book 2.

A bit of a slow dragged out start. I feel like this could have been combined with the second book. Still an okay book and the narrators were good.

The male narrator needs help.

The book is okay. It does end on a cliffhanger, which isn’t my favorite ending but I knew that going in.

While some parts are predictable others have twists I didn’t predict. The story is basically the same as all the others. I may need to find a new genre.

I don’t plan to listen to part two. Mostly because the male narrator gets on my nerves. He speaks his lines as if every thing has an exclamation point at the end. And he can’t keep his accent going with any consistency. So not putt g myself through that torment.
