it was Good overall
The whole thing is great.. the overarching framework, the world, the diologe is not bad. The only real issue is the "Scree" of his bird form, and the animal sounds should be in your rough draft if it helps you imagine it as an author, but not in the final work as it's childish and kind of annoying. To be honest it really took away from this being 5 stars. I felt embarrassed for everyone involved every time I heard the author reading it out. otherwise I think honestly this book is all around good.

Too Many Flashbacks
Just like the title says. There were far too many flashbacks in this book. Every time it took me straight out of any immersion I had while listening. Really started to just feel like filler. The narration was good, save for the narrators attempts at screeching.
