great end to a great series

it was bittersweet to say goodbye to Sir Robin of locksley and Sir Alan after all the adventures. Really appreciated the development of the characters, especially Robin, as they ripened into middle-aged men.

unfortunately, all of the memorable moments would be spoilers, so I can't reveal them here!

If you could rename The Death of Robin Hood, what would you call it?

Hmmm... the legacy of Robin Hood. Or maybe, How Robin Hood shaped England.

Any additional comments?

The only reason this gets a four is that once again Alan Dale's contradictory behavior gets really frustrating at times. He knows who Robin is, yet is continuously surprised, disgusted, gets this superior moralistic attitude, then turns around and feels bad and apologizes to him. Then hit repeat. It gets a little old after awhile. But the story is strong enough for me to get past it. It's that well-written

A+++ the Scotsman, Mr. Douglas, spins a nearly perfect tale . . the best Robin Hood ever!

An amazing series. Catches the reader from the very beginning. Bernard Cornwell readers would enjoy. One of my favorite adventure series.

There are thousands of books out there, hundreds of series. But I’m so grateful I listened to this series. It truly is one of the best I’ve ever had the fortune of reading.

Very Satisfactory Final Book

This has been a wondrous tale. The narrator gave a word-class performance, and the underlying history of the imaginary tale filled in a lot of gaps.

Great book and series

It’s bitter sweet to come to the end of a series. These books had me wanting more up until the last. With a dynamic duo of a fantastic story teller and a very talented narrator you get a series that can’t be beat. I tried to guess how it would end but was wrong after each guess. So with tears in my eyes I say well done sir well done!
