I found this well written and well researched so as to be very plausible and believable.

I love this Series!

I wish Quest would finish this series several years between books kinda sucks and the books are not the same while reading. The only thing the is annoying is the songs or chanting while rowing or in the shied wall. Reminds me of school writing a paper in english class where you had to have so many words and you are just filling out lines just to fill space.

Lack of a plot/a reason to tell the story.

No apparent plot. Just a young man who learns to be a killer and thief, going from village to village, raiding, killing, enslaving for profit. Hard to get connected emotionally with any of the protagonists, because they are barely more than unthinking, animalistic, human predators.
