Not perfect

The story in performance were great however, I think LT forgot details from the first book of this series. When you name the son in book one, it can’t be a mystery in book 2.

realistic crime drama with good twists and turns

this is a story with strong characters and a good ending, too. a solid crime drama engaging multiple story lines and plots.
really nice voice acting

It kept me interested along the way. Good story.

Quite complicated and an awful lot of people involved that made it difficult to stay on track. The officers made an awful lot of mistakes along the way, that we're not very professional. however the overall story was quite good.

There is potential

The storylines are great, fresh and inventive. But, the sophomoric conversations, long-winded descriptions, the consistent misuse of various nouns and verbs, a couple of obvious plot goofs, errors … and the narrator, while soothing as a background murmur, the mispronounced words, and the really odd pauses in the middle of most sentences disrupts the story flow.

I was expecting this to be the debut series of a new author and green narrator, but surprised that is not the case.

Please get the man a better editor and do some prep on the audiobooks. I’m excited about the fresh talent but it needs polish.

Boring

I was hoping for more. I needed a knowledgeable hero type. This character did not measure up. Hope the next book in the series is better. Writing was ok.

Slow and boring

I forced my way through book one and made it to chapter 3 on book two and just couldn't get into it. The narration was very good considering sub par material.
