At least it was short
I love how diets always claim you will feel satisfied and never deprived and then go on to say you can't have potatoes or corn or butter or sugar. This is pretty standard diet stuff and a lot of recipes. Thankfully it's short.

Great intro to the diet and great recipes
This is a really good starting place for anyone interested in the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet plan. It's a really quick read, and the book does a really good job of outlining the basics and offering recipe options. The first half of the book deals with oulining the plan and the second half is recipes.
I know...I know...what could be more boring than hearing recipes read out loud? I have to say though, hearing the recipes read gave me some new ideas for menus and a good idea of how they use substitutes in the plan.
I would recommend this book for anyone wanting some good ideas about how to eat healthier. It's a quick read at a great price.
