slightly darker hero than I normally care for but I couldn't stop reading and then bought the audio books. great performance by Tim Reynolds.
just get this series, you won't regret it!!!!!

Enjoyed this book

This storyline captured my interest in the first few minutes and there were very few dull moments in the 66 hours of listening time. The only disappointment was the book ended with several open questions and multiple possibilities for additional adventures.

it is a story of friendships, magic, death, politics, and empathy. loved every minute of it. the main characters' banter always had me laughing or rolling my eyes with a smile. very engaging

I'm not going to review the story. I'll just say it's a great one. I'm going to review the narrator. Tim Gerard Reynolds turns this awesome fantasy trilogy into a mega-epic masterpiece! It is an absolute joy to listen to Mr. Reynolds on my daily commute. If you have any interest at all in fantasy stories, you owe it to yourself to listen to this one. The narrator absolutely makes it worth it. He breathes life into the characters. His voice for each character makes you think you actually "know" the character, it's so personalized. You can actually tell which character is speaking because of Mr. Reynolds' dynamic voice. I implore you, get this audiobook. You will not regret it. The story is riveting, the narration is captivating.

I haven't had the pleasure, but I'll do so at my earliest convenience. His narration of "The Cycle" is brilliant. I can't wait to hear his other works.

I've laughed out loud during my commute at the humor in this story. I've gasped and cursed at turns of events. The narrator does a great job of drawing the listener in.

Seriously, get this audiobook the first chance you get. The story is magnificent, the narration is icing on the cake. Without a doubt, this is my favorite audiobook purchase.
