Always love a Victorian mystery!!!
I knew I was going to love the main character, but the entire cast is wonderful. The story took a direction I never would have expected in this genre! All brought vividly to life, of course, by the amazing Ink Arnadine!!!

Absolutely SPECTACULAR
This is a most enjoyable book! I can't wait for the next in the series! Ms. Hicks provides just the right amount of detail for the reader to envision the world of Lily Pond. The storyline is both believeable and fantastic. With the marvelous narration by Ms. Arnadine, I've become invested in this series right from the beginning. Ms. Arnadine's use of different voices for each character was impeccable and provided continuity throughout the book. This is definitely a series and narrator I will keep my eye on.
