The Cupid Chronicles is a standalone book in the Only Magic in the Building series. These closed-door, whimsical romance books are all set in the same historic building, which has a habit of playing matchmaker with its residents. There are light magical elements, but no spells, shifters, or dark magic of any kind.

My favorite of the serendipity series (so far)

Great grumpy/sunshine trope.
No miscommunication trope!
I REALLY appreciate how open the FMC is. She says what she thinks. It’s not crass or inappropriate- it’s actual communication. She tells him when he hurts her. And she talks it through with love.
Personally I think the world needs more of this kind of book simply to model good relationship skills.
The antics of the newspaper make me laugh. And she just accepts it and communicates with it too.
I love how absolutely lost the MMC is- it gives him a reason and a destination. And depth to the story.
Her backstory is heart breaking. I wish that there could have been some wake up moment for her dad. Some point where he realizes the really good thing he really hurt.
Her bravery in the face of love and life is my favorite. She has every reason to not try again. But she does. Over and over. (And has the tacky decor to prove it).
Both characters grow. And both are brave but exceedingly kind.
I really love this story.

Snarky Magic With Loads of Heart

Courtney Walsh is the Queen of a Clean Rom-Com.
Ivy and Matteo, are likable and relatable. We are cheering them on, all the way to the happily ever after!
The magic felt like another character- an unpredictable character- and added to the comedy of the story.
This story is so creative, It was as like the TV show Early Edition had a more magical, cheeky baby. A baby that gives news in riddles, and demands to be the center of attention until the message has been received.
I laughed. I cried. I loved it.
A great audio performance of both narrators, Stephanie Rose and Lee Samuels.

A heart warming whimsical story. Magic or fate things happen for a reason. Characters were believable.
The narrator’s were perfect! I recommend this to anyone that wants to put a smile on their face and brighten your day.
