Fantastic Read!

This story. This audio was a reread because I love it so much. It’s a hilarious and totally swoon-worthy enemies to more story, with some amazing depth regarding loss and representation of agoraphobia—which I related to on a personal level having a parent who bears that burden as well. It was so well done. I laughed, I cried, and I loved the whole story so very much.

Depth and Swoon wrapped up with a Christmas bow

Gosh the way Kate writes has me hooked every time! Her characters are deep with flaws, aches, and dreams. This story had me laughing and crying and sighing over tender moments. The kisses were written beautifully and the way everything came together left me grinning. Such a perfect love story! I personally appreciated the representation of someone whose parent suffers with mental illness. It was written with care and heart. If you or someone you love suffers from mental illness.. please know you aren’t alone and you matter. Highly recommend this book!

The perfect closed-door romcom

This audiobook is perfect. The narration, the story, all of it! 🥰 Stephanie Rose and Gregory Salinas knocked it out of the park!

Kate Watson is the master of writing heartfelt romcoms that make you laugh out loud. I enjoyed this book so much. I laughed, I cried (happy tears), and I laughed some more. This audiobook left me feeling warm and fuzzy inside - like drinking the perfect cup of sweet hot chocolate. 💕

I absolutely loved this story! Kate Watson is an instant-buy author for me and this story is a perfect holiday read!!

I loved the forced-proximity, reverse sunshine/grinch, and work place romance. Kate has a way to write deeper topics into her books and this book tugged at all of my emotions. This is going to be a re-read every winter for me!

Stephanie Rose and Gregory Salinas have become two of my favorite narrators and this story is a top favorite of mine.

Great Narrators

Loved this enemies to lovers romcom. Cooper and Liesel are a swoon worthy couple. Both have spent most of their lives taking care of other people. Both have past hurts that have defined who they are. I loved seeing them develop a friendship as they realize their first impressions of each other are totally wrong. Throw in an over protective father and brothers and it gets super fun! The chemistry between Liesel and Cooper is really amazing with heated kisses but no spice. I also enjoyed the crossover characters from Single all the way making appearances in the book.
