Only… it's not that great. Now that his mother isn't sick and his siblings are grown, they don't really need him. Where does that leave Levi? It would seem in the hands of quirky, unpredictable Meredith Porter and her list. This girl is too young and too innocent for the likes of Levi. He has no business taking her to yoga or teaching her to ride a bike.

He certainly has no business falling for the twenty-three-year-old who has pretty much been living under a rock her entire life. Yep… no business at all, and yet there are a million butterflies disturbing his insides, telling him to kiss the girl, to give this thing with Meredith a chance. Telling him that maybe, just maybe, he is worthy of affection from someone as good and pure as Meredith.

Then again, what do dumb ol' butterflies know anyway?

Adorable grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract.

This audiobook was adorable. I really enjoyed the dual narrators and felt like they each did a good job representing Levi and Meredith’s characters. The story was easy to listen to and follow along. For the book itself, I thought Meredith’s character was so unique. She was really naive due to how she was raised, but she was so genuine and smart. I loved the balance she brought to Levi and how she helped him show his softer side. Their romance was cute and I loved her list and how Levi helped her check things off. The side cast was fun too and I definitely want to read the other books in this series now.
Overall, a good listen and a book I recommend.

I'm starting to. It's definitely not my preference but it might just be the season of life I'm in.

This story was adorable in ebook, the paperback looks gorgeous on my shelf and the audio is equally awesome. The narrators are so good and sound wonderful together.

Love this grumpy/sunshine!

I read the book when it came out and am so excited it’s on audio now! I devoured the audio and it was amazing! It was so fun revisiting the characters and hearing them come to life. I’m not a big re-reader but Jen Atkinson has turned me into one with her books! I’m so excited for the rest of the series to come out on audio!

Really good storyline & great narration!

I loved that there are many layers to this story that cover growing up, living and growing in your positive and negative experiences, solid life advice, getting over age-gap and out of your own way, and also sweetness and kindness 💛 This is a book I'll listen to over and over, recommending it to all kinds of kinds!

Cute, swoony story

If you have read this book you already know how great it is! Meredith is fun and has a list and she plans to fulfill the things on that list! With a few incidents along the way 😂 and Levi is the opposite he is full of routine and responsible at all times! What happens when they collide (like literally collide 🤭)!?!?

Funny and Charming

Levi Bailey Has Butterflies by Jen Arkinson, is an absolute delight! 🌟

Levi is a treat! He’s the ultimate protector and rescuer, especially for those he loves the most. 🦸‍♂️ He thinks he knows what’s best for everyone, which sometimes gets him stuck in his own way when building relationships. 😅 Despite his grumpy exterior, he has the biggest heart and is hiding some hurt behind it. 💔

Meredith, on the other hand, is hysterical! 😂 Her blunt personality and tendency to say whatever she’s thinking make her laugh-out-loud funny. She’s genuine in her interactions and exudes a confidence that’s impossible not to admire. 💁‍♀️

Meredith is figuring out who she is and her capabilities, yet she knows exactly what she desires and deserves. Her list of things to explore, which she’s been held back from, is both inspiring and entertaining. 📋✨

The narration by Rachel L. Jacobs and Oliver Clarke is perfect for these characters. 🎧 Their voices bring the story to life, making it even more entertaining and enjoyable. Check it out today! 📚🎉

A Fun Story

A fun, relaxing read. Meredith has a unique background that adds interest to the plot. I also appreciated Levi has a weakness that gives his character a chance for growth.
