Publisher's Summary

A summer rental, a new beginning....

Hannah Russell’s carefully crafted plans for her life have been upended without warning. When her best friend died suddenly, Hannah became guardian to a five-year-old named Noah. With no experience at motherhood, she’s terrified she’s not up to the challenge. She and Noah need time to get to know each other, so she decides to rent a country house with stunning views on a lake in rural Colorado.

When they arrive at the house, they are greeted by the owner, a handsome man who promises to stay out of their way. But his clumsy Great Dane, Romeo, has other ideas and Noah immediately bonds with the lovable dog. As Hannah learns to become a mother, Owen Abrams, who is recovering from his own grief, can’t help but be drawn out of his solitude by his guests.

But life throws more challenges at this unlikely trio and they are tested in ways they never thought possible. All three will discover their strengths and, despite their differences, they will fight to become a family. And the people of Sullivan’s Crossing will rally around them to offer all of the support they need.

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Robyn Carr delivers an emotional and triumphant novel about the fierce power of a mother’s love.

Guests Abound

Robyn Carr has created another hit with the latest in Sullivan's Crossing series. She has a way of showing that family is what you make of it. The listener will be held captive until the end because of all the characters interactions. I always look forward to the next book.

Nice sweet story

Not really a complicated story, but a nice retreat from reality. Narrator was good.

Intriguing storyline

Excellent addition to the Sullivan’s Crossing series. Enjoyed the familiar characters being a part of this new chapter in the lives of Sullivan’s crossing. I don’t like to read spoilers or anything that isn’t given in the synopsis. I will tell you I loved these characters & the development of relationships. Interesting & different storyline Typically great read, as always, by Robyn Carr.

Awesome

Another awesome book by Robyn Carr, I could not put it down. I am hoping, wishing, praying that there will be more books in Sullivan's Crossing's future and also hoping that this series will also become a TV series or movie!! Of course the Sullivan's Crossing series would still be good, but the narrator Therese Plummer just makes it that much better! 5 Stars across the board.

Another amazing small town story.

Another great book in this series, I am a massive fan of this authors books specially her small town series. I love re visiting the characters from previous books even though each book focuses on two main Characters. This was another fantastic read and it was lovely to see Hannah and Owen slowly start coming to terms with there spasiffic past and determined to build a family with Noa.
