Love this series

This box set sold me with the length for one credit. I hoped I would like it, but I fell in love!!! I’ve listened to all of her available audiobooks (19 of them) since purchasing this one on 1/2/22, today is 1/30/22. Mr. Mchottie and the Berger twins were my favorites!

Didn’t like it

I was convenced for this audiobook because 3 for 1 sounded good, plus it had very good comments that was good and funny.

So, book 1 was okey; book 2 was too much and book 3 was just unberable.

One credit- three times the raunch

There’s a formula to these three rom-coms. All three feature rich white guys and firecracker white gals, hyperbolic scenarios, talking to naughty parts (& occasionally naughty parts talking back), dirty jokes, nooky euphemisms and “yo momma” style naughty insults. And, although the swearing using the lord’s name is converted to “I swear to dog,” all other cussing including F 💣 are fair game and freely dropped. Oh, and let’s not forget the nooky… hoo, the naughty, mouthy nooky (multiple scenes per book, no slow burn here, no sirree). Crass won’t always work for me, but these are perfect for those days when I’m jonesing for raunchy, over-the-top-bent enemies to lovers quickies.

Book 1: Mister McHottie: Ambrosia & Chase:
Chase isn’t just a millionaire CEO, he’s a Billionaire CEO, and he isn’t just sexy, he was on People’s Sexiest Man Cover. 🙄The writing is Deadpool meets Chelsea Handler raw, full of crooked d!cks, glitter bombs, and public shagging... lot’s of shagging by two crazy bratwursts.

Book 2: Pilot and the Puck-Up: Josie & Zeus:
Vomit rockets, spiders, and rubber chockey…it’s all fun and games until two overly competitive alphas take each other head-on. This one features duet narration, which totally rocked.

Book 3: Royally Pucked: Gracie & Manning
This one hits right in the sugar cookies as small-town Gracie takes on his royal clueless and the dark-aged “rules” forbidding HEAs with a commoner. The eye-roll is the strongest yet with this one, both with the contrived conflict and the comedy-bits. Perhaps I should have taken a break between books to avoid anaphylactic-smexy-sugar-shock? Nah, bring on the talking monkey!

Amazing trio

This series is packed full of laugh out loud moments and plenty of hotness to go with it. We have Chase and Ambrosia in Mr. McHottie and they are hilarious. Then we get Zeus Berger who is Ambrosia's brother and Chase's friend and the big hockey player that falls for Joey who takes no prisoners' in The Pilot and the Puck Up. Last but not least is The Royally Pucked which is Manning and Gracie's story and full of a monkey and cookies. All three of these books are fantastic and stand on their own but are even better together.

The narrators were great in each of these three books. Perfectly cast for the characters and they all brought their A game. Great listen and I loved them. I highly recommend this set.

Written by a frat boy?

I usually love Pippa Grant but this was terrible. I couldn’t get through the first couple hours of the first book. And so many many things in the few hours I listened to were so ridiculous. I’d thought it was great 3 for 1 deal but I was wrong. I’m going to try another stand alone, hoping it is more of what I like from this author.

Failure to launch...

I thought that I would enjoy this from the sample but it failed to stimulate my senses. The story felt forced and didn't flow.

An amazing start to Copper Valley Thrusters

Omg. I just love this box set. All the performances are amazing. We have for the men- Aiden Snow (as Chase), Jason Clarke (as Zeus), and Jacob Morgan (as Manning). The women was just as good- Ava Erickson (as Bro), Erin Mallon (as Joey), & Virginia Rose (as Gracie). Each story has its own quirkiness that you can’t help but keep listening to these Thrusters (with the exception for Chase and Bro- they are more like an intro into the Thrusters world) and how they find their HEA.

Loved two of the three books

I loved the first and third book, the second book made me want to bang my head against a wall.

Aries?

I love Pippa Grant books! Always a laugh a smile and a great feeling in the end. This series characters are great. Not giving it away you have to read/listen? However I am looking for Aries story??? Has it been written? Did I miss the title? If not it will be a very special story to write , please.

Great listens

I have read all of the books in this series and loved them, so when the box sets came out for the audiobooks came out had to get them. i loved all the narrators for these. I would happily recommend anything by Pippa Grant.

Love the series

Different narrators make for a mixed experience. I adored some but the weird accent for Manning was very distracting for a long time.

Great books with lovable characters and decent story lines. narrator's did a great job too but that stands to reason from this talented crew. I especially liked the duel narration of the second book. absolute steal at only 1 credit for the box set and I've already purchased the next set in the series. I highly recommend them. *****

This book is hilarious! Pippa has captured the very best of these characters. I love how a massive alpha man beast can turn into a screaming little girl so quickly. Amazing! A brilliant performance from both narrators.

This is yet another fantastically hilarious book in this series. With a well written storyline and absolutely hysterical consequences you have to listen to this audiobook. Absolutely brilliant performance from both narrateors.

Hilariously Entertaining

Ambrosia & Chase
They grew up together and made each other crazy. Now they work together and are making each other crazy, in a more adult way.
Joey & Zeus
Joey is a bad azz pilot and is good at everything. Zeus is a BIG bad azz hockey player that can’t manage to get himself under control and is fumbling up everything after meeting Joey.
Gracie & Manning
Seems to be a lot of crazy in this book. Manning is a prince but not the next in line. Gracie is Joeys sister and bakes erotic cookies.
All three books are hilariously entertaining. If you want to laugh and fall in love with great Characters Pippa Grant knows how to create just that. All of these books have hockey players in them, however she doesn’t get into the hockey aspect too much. Pippa’s books are pretty low angst with just enough heat to make them great. In my opinion, Pippa writes the best rom-coms. She also picks the best narrators. All of these are perfectly narrated with the best personalities. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
