Max didn't disappoint!

I was recently introduced to Rachel's books. I have fallen HARD for her characters in this series! I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time. I'm excited to read more books in this series! Adding this book to my favs of all time!

Loved it, one of the funniest series

I can't get enough of this author or these two actors, they make this series come to life and have me keeling over with laughter. On to the next book of the series, I can't wait to get started.

An amazing story +amazing voice acting = sucess!

This are words I'll probably never utter again. "I wished I had more housework". Listening to the audio version of this book was amazing, the voice acting was amazing, together with the story had me cracking up constantly, making house chores entertaining ( I exaggerated this last part but you get my drift)

Hilarious and Nick Podehl is awesome

I'm a huge fan of the author and this series is one of the major reasons why. Even better, this story centers around Max who is just the heart of the series. Egotistical but with a heart of slightly tarnished gold, he has some of the best lines of any character is any rom-comedy. His constant humor, wit, (over)confidence and, well, his heart, just speak to me. I loved him in the first book and I loved him even more in this book.

Nick Podehl, is amazing. Becca is great too, witty with hilarious retorts. And something this author is amazing at is an ensemble romantic comedy. The supporting cast and how they play off each other is genius. So many funny parts to this book, the setting of which is a play off of "the Bachelor". Be forewarned, the type of humor is slapstick and sometimes, you just have to roll your eyes at the incredible silliness of what's happening. But it doesn't matter because all the characters are so likable and fun and you root for the hero and the heroine to achieve their HEA.

Hilariously outlandish storytelling and fabulous narration!!

Max and Becca’s hilarious reality dating spectacle is a Survivors meets slapstick comedy of errors as Max and a group of money grubbing piranhas take part in what are supposed to be festive island games. Unfortunately the island hut accommodations, the obnoxious Oompa Loompa host, and the devious intervention of Max’s brother Reid guarantee that nothing goes according to plan. If you thought Max was outrageous in the first book you haven’t seen anything yet! Enter our heroine Becca who hails from Max’s hometown and also prepares his Starbucks order. Their chemistry is palpable, the prize money will pay for Becca’s remaining college education, and there’s a possibility for more after their island games end. This book is laughable out loud comical but some of the scenes and the dastardly surprises are too bizarre for words. I loved watching Max fall head over heels with a gecko, an affectionate goat who loves to eat his underwear, and sweet, girl- next-door Becca who really gets him and appreciates his sense of humor. It just wouldn’t be a continuing series without the presence of Jason, Colton, Milo and Max’s brother Reid who is sure to be the next object of revenge. I thoroughly enjoyed the hilarious and poignant vocal acting skills of Nick Podehl and Amy McFadden whose performances are not to be missed!
