awesome story telling

I love reading and am trying so hard to get in to audiobooks for my drives to work. it has been weirdly difficult to find audiobooks that keep my attention while I'm driving but this one did it. my mind starts wondering and thinking of other things while I miss 10 minutes of the book. not with him! he kept my attention and gave the stories more life

I bought this because I really liked stolen tongues as well as the prequel. I assumed the short stories in this book would be unrelated to the characters in stolen tongues. However, Felix and Faye have a few stories in here and it doesn't make any sense. The author chooses to expand Felix's backstory. Adding things that were not in stolen tongues. Now Felix is regularly able to see the paranormal and this has been passed down through his family? None of this was in stolen tongues.
The imposter also makes appearances in these stories which again was not originally in stolen tongues. Even though Faye sleep walks the imposter doesn't show up in their house until after they visit the cabin. Expanding on Felix and Faye's stories was obviously fun for the author however it was just confusing and a little annoying to me. Especially since the author decided to add so many of them. Eventually I got bored enough to skip.
As far as the other stories go I enjoyed most of them so for that reason I chose not to return this title.
