Publisher's summary

Decades ago, a mysterious treasure vanished in the middle of the night. But the secrets it held were worth more than gold.

The thrilling follow-up to The Secret of the Stones sends former government agent Sean Wyatt and his sidekick Tommy Schultz from the deserts of the American southwest to the hills and jungles of Ecuador in a perilous race to find the mysterious lost treasure.

The treasure is somehow linked to the legendary Lost Chambers of Gold that has remained hidden for thousands of years. But the chambers hold a deeper secret, one on which an evil mastermind has his sights set.

Along the way, Sean and Tommy find ancient clues that lead the way to the next of the lost chambers, and with a little help from the beautiful Adriana Villa, they may be the first to reach it.

The Hunt for the hidden chambers continues

volume 2 of the trilogy does a decent job of continuing the pace of the first book. Decent action and pacing. My biggest gripe is with the narration. Several of the characters sound absolutely identical. In some cases changing their "voice" and becoming identical.

Still, the story is good and I plan on continuing with the series, at least through the trilogy. Recommended for fans of archeological mysteries.

Just enough.

Just enough to keep me interested. Just enough to see where the adventure leads. Just enough to give the next book a listen.

Too much killing

Good story except that people drop like lemmings. Could be greater book with more intrigue and less killings.

Excellent

Continuation of book 1, The secret of the stones. Enjoyable listen and plot line. Would recommend reading Book 1 before starting this one

Resembles Indiana Jones Stories

Resembles Indiana Jones Stories in several aspects. I will not elaborate because there would be many spoilers.

Potential not found

Wanted this series to be good. Like some of the characters, but can’t see them being so blind to being followed. Here is a main character who is supposed to be paranoid and never checks for listening devices or figures out bad guys just happen to strike time after time. Gave second book a chance, but won’t listen to the third.

The clerics vault

While the book and series are good, the narration ruins the story. The
Story is full of fun history, and has interesting plots. Unfortunately, it is hard to take the story seriously when the narrator changes voice for the character s and makes them sound clowns and cartoon like.
