Excellent audio book read by the author Unabridged

A great read that I would read again. Contains years of knowledge from around the world.

Honest, easy to listen too, and flows nicely!!

“Free is something you choose everyday”

This reading by the author was very conversational and I expect the written version had more content. That being said, once I got into the Altucher’s tone, I gained a lot of wisdom and perspective. I love the “idea practice” and I’ve already noticed that I’m thinking more clearly as a result.
This book was different from most self development books as it didn’t just rephrase universal principles or give obvious advice, but actually offered a very outside the box and honest perspective of the changing world, in a mostly objective way.
The quotes from this book felt authentic and useful and I found myself sharing ideas with good reception.
I didn’t expect a step by step plan to become wealthy and really liked the abstract-ness that some reviewers mentioned, as I could apply it to my own situation and customize advice.

Quite a surprise

Although it's like a podcast, I'm really glad I came across this audiobook. It is a great overview of the mindset you should have to find motivation into executing ideas. Worth keeping for future reference.

James is just awesome. Listen to the book.

James has a way of teaching that you won't find anywhere else. He gives real advice on how to do business like they don't teach you in school.

Its almost like I want to not like the book because of how simple and obvious he makes everything sound. There are a lot of "why did I never think of that?" moments. I can relate so well to all of the self doubting and failure. It really gives me no excuse to not try something for fear of failure.

But a lot of good advice is actionable and relevant and I really hope more people start doing business this way in the future.

I like that he read it himself I like that his personality shines through and all the useful information that I will be using and returning to to listen over and over again as I did as I was listening I must've listened to several sections 5 to 10 times to make sure I got the point but I will be going back you should definitely get this book if you're into investing in yourself and working for yourself don't even think twice about it for the price it's less than a meal just do it by now

Solid, down to earth advice

Incredibly good book that gives great, common and not so common, advice. It like listening to your older brother that’s been through it and done the show and this is what he learned. Take from it what you will.

I didn't know anything about the author James Altucher prior to seeing a Facebook post promoting this book. After having listened, I can say his take on life and how to achieve prosperity is one of the most exciting and relevant to our times I've heard. I highly recommend it! I gave 4 stars on the performance, because sometimes James referenced the book, but didn't give a complete account of what was written, and instead recommended we read the chapter. Don't let this stop you from getting the audio though.

Will listen to many more times.
