Fantastic read! Requesting a Part 2!

Twisty political drama with a side of action, love triangle and deeply flawed but likable characters thrown in. I need to know though what happens to them all after the plot twist(s). Would love to see these characters in a Part 2!

Bailey's best

10 years ago, I read my first Robert Bailey book – the professor. It was so good I couldn't imagine how he could get any better. I thought, maybe he's going to be one of those one hit Wonders. Time after time over the years Robert Bailey Has impressed with his creativity, writing clarity and excellent choice of narrators and delivering the best legal thrillers over the past decade. The boomerang is perhaps his most creative and best performance. While a slightly different type of legal thriller, it demonstrates the expansive creative and writing ability of the author. Robert Bailey may not only be the best legal fiction writer today, but he just might be the best fiction writer of them all.

gripping

this really caught me from the beginning I continued reading from hot turtle I anticipated a lot of things that didn't happen and then there were things that just blew me away it was a great book..

Great story and narration

Story was action packed with world-class narration. I really enjoyed it. 15 word minimum

Prepare for the twists and turns in this blockbuster. You won't see them coming. Hope there is a sequel.

The story was unique

Good characters and the story was out of the ordinary. Kept me looking forward to the next listen. Not my favorite narrator.

Worth reading (or listening)

I would actually give this one 4.5 if I could. It was not my favorite by Robert Bailey. I enjoyed his "Rich" series better and the ones with Bocephus Haynes as the main character. This one started off pretty slowly and I struggled to maintain focus as I was listening. It ended up getting much better with good plot twists and some good action. I think my biggest issue was that none of the characters were particularly redeemable, which I guess made it more realistic, but if I'm reading fiction, I would like there to be a hero or heroine with solid character, someone to root for and champion. These characters all had severe moral and ethical deficits. Many will probably disagree with my assessment, but that was my take on it. Still interesting and very well written.

Another RB classic! Great plot and execution. As a parent it hits hard with you with all the feelings!

What if there was a cure for cancer?

How far would the pharmaceutical companies and the government go to keep this miracle cure hidden? Robert Bailey’s plot makes for a page turner.
I read this novel in two days.
