Because of its emphasis on "the Love of God" and Jesus' being the incarnation of that Love, many believe this gospel is the most important for new and old Christians alike to take to heart. Written by the "disciple whom Jesus loved", the book of John is organized around seven miracles, seven discourses and seven "I AM" statements. This study is so deep "an elephant can bathe in it, and yet an infant can wade in it."

Awesome

The Insights and Revelations in this commentary are so profound! The best commentary on this book that is out there!

Not as entertaining as his others, plus too quiet.

I usually enjoy listening to Chuck Missler’s audiobooks, but this one was lacking. You could tell he was just sitting alone recording vs. teaching a class, he is much more animated and fun to listen to when he is in front of people. This was also recorded quietly, I have my phone volume all the way up and is hard to hear sometimes.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book

Chuck Missler brings things to the surface I would normally miss. I’ve followed his commentaries through most of my bible making notes and flipping through from all other books he references making notes on those as well. I have notes in the margins along with dates when led to those pages. Four years later and still continuing to follow Chuck Missler through my Bible book by book. Thanks to Mr Missler I’ve continued to advance my learning and desire for more every day. Highly recommended any of his books.

Deep commentary and explanations

A wonder supplement and compliment to the book of John. Missler’s knowledge is vast and helpful.

Good commentary, too much lip smacking

The commentary is very good, but the constant lipsmacking. is very distracting. The editors should edit those out.

Very Useful

I liked this for the detail and exact contrast to the other three gospel accounts. As always, there are some rabbit holes, and a lot of cud to chew.

I must recommend this to anyone who is willing to lay aside prejudices and take time to think. Christians will be edified. Unbelievers will be encouraged, for the hope that is clearly laid out in I Corinthians 15:1-4.

Take heed, and beware! A full 1/3rd of John’s account covers just a single week, from the 10th to the 16th of Nisan, from Christ’s Triumphal entry until his resurrection. There is more to be told than the world can contain, but even a child will be well nourished!

Outstanding presentation

Chuck Missler is one of the most knowledgeable of the Bible, and his insights into mankind and our relationship with God inspires a us to act wisely in our relationships. Especially how it pertains to God.
