"Finishing Well" is the name of the game. Here was a rich, young ruler - a first century "yuppie" if you will - who, although getting off to a rather problematic beginning, finished well, indeed. A rich young ruler questioned Christ about what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Mark's Gospel includes a detail that Matthew and Luke failed to mention: "And Jesus looking upon him loved him..." This hints at the possibility that young John Mark himself may have been that rich young man.

When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. There are only two people in the Bible other than Jesus Christ of which no evil is spoken, Joseph and Daniel.

I have almost ALL of Chuck Missler’s audibles. He is thorough, detailed, edifying & he holds your attention, without a doubt. You LEARN from his audibles. He is thorough in areas of the Bible that are confusing, which makes you say; “Ah, I now understand now”. He is the best!!!

Thorough and Well Presented

This is not an audiobook
It is not that I didn’t appreciate the content, but I was dismayed because this was not an audiobook. Rather, it is a series of lectures that have been recorded. The lecturer refers to things on slides which you cannot see and says prayers with an audience, concluding that day’s lecture. It feels like you’re listening to a lecture from a pastor on YouTube, not listening to a well composed and edited book that is being read by a narrator.
