"Finishing Well" is the name of the game. Here was a rich, young ruler - a first century "yuppie" if you will - who, although getting off to a rather problematic beginning, finished well, indeed. A rich young ruler questioned Christ about what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Mark's Gospel includes a detail that Matthew and Luke failed to mention: "And Jesus looking upon him loved him..." To a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, our Messiah,
I believe the Body of Christ will continue to benefit greatly from Chuck's teachings, as God has so evidently raised up Chuck for this purpose. We are not our own, and I consider 1 Corinthians 1:26 as it applies to Chuck Missler; he strikes me as one of the "not many", as he was called to serve Christ in the midst of influence. The believer will find a commitment to this study rewarding, challenging, and worthwhile while partnering with God in growth and perseverance. God desires unity in Christ's Body, and this study will minister to you in many ways, I'm certain.
