Awesome book

I won’t go into the description of the book because it was already done and much better written than I could ever do. I am normally not a crime suspense fan in the books I read. It is a fabulous book. It held my attention and kept me coming back to finish the book. I found it to be awesome! And that goes a long way in what I think about this book. Kept me guessing the whole way through. Now I’m on to his next book. Thank you D.D. Black for the story! You better write fast, I can read a book in one day. I’m your latest fan.

D.D. Black did a fabulous job in writing this book. I was excited to know that it was released on audible so I can work and listen at the same time.

Joe Hempel did a fabulous job in narrating the story. Great voice to listen to.

Great story

Good story although not complex. Fun as it is set near where I live and accurately described the area.

Kept your attention from start to finish!

Interesting and believable characters weave a great mystery in this book. Really grabs you from chapter one till the exciting ending.

Loved that it wasn’t rife with language and gratuitous sex that detracts from a good mystery. Engaging story, great narrator.

Nice debut!

I had figured out a lot before the ending but it was written well and played out nicely. Characters are developed enough you want to see them again in the next book. I’m going on with the series!

Plot

I often wonder how writers can come up with heinous murders like this. But, it helped pass the time for my husband and I on a road trip from Colorado to Texas.
