Good new addition

I thought at first that it was kind of slow, but it picked up up quickly. Scary stuff, made more scary and believable in the current political climate. The main character started out buttoned up and a bit stiff, but very good and likable at the end. The promised cat is a great addition, and the last couple paragraphs made me laugh out loud, and bode good reading for the next book!

Tedious Narration

I really have enjoyed the author's previous books. I can even tell if this one's good or not. The narration is awful. I had to slow down to .95 to have a normal pace. There's no depth, evoked no emotion whatsoever. Can't recommend. I'd return but was sale item. Now I know why.
