All of Grace Livingston Hill’s books are phenomenal. I especially liked how there’s specific times for all the little facts and tidbits that come out, one by one, keeping you on your toes!
The narrator was great. Slightly bland or boring at times, but she did A-ok for me.
This book is hilariously funny tale of romance that is clean and easy to keep up with. Great for people of all ages.

Another great story involving wholesome characters from early 20th Century America! Narrator does a great job!

Exciting

“The Best Man” is one my favorite of Grace Livingston Hill’s books. Excitement grabs you from the 1st page. There are numerous twists and turns. The romance is captivating. I highly recommend this book.

I love Grace Livingston Hill books. She was a true romance writer who kept her books clean and Godly.

Mom's secret

This one was my mothers favorite book of Graces. I first read this one as a teen, but now I know why it was her favorite. Mom never talked much about her early life because it wasn't pretty. I' m sure she wished she had a 'best man' that could have saved her from marrying the worst man.

Exciting adventure and kindheartedness

This story showed the kindheartedness and care people can have for one another in even the most dangerous situations.

Loved this book. I'll probably read it all the time. It keeps you guessing, yet gets to the point in a classy way.

It’s so cute.

I liked the comfortable pace. It was probably meant to be fast pace in 1908, since the story has suspense vibes. Today’s standard for suspense is less relaxed. The romantic tension is so cute. I wish it were longer. This felt well written. The narrator does a great job.

Exceptionally spellbinding.

I've loved Grace Livingston Hill's books for years since I was a teenager and at age 81 they still intrigue me with mystery, romance and excitement.
