Great narrator!

I am a big Mercedes Lackey fan. I love the fact that the Elemental Master's stories contain bits, and pieces of the other stories including people from them as well and yet she can make them as stand alone (and those extra bits make you want to read the other books). This book has Nan and Sarah both using their powers in pursuit of a necromancer who has been killing young girls and cutting off their heads. Unbeknown to everyone is the fact that he was working for Moriarty trying to bring him back in to the real world from the first plain of death. Thanks to the narrator you can be right there with the girls striving to solve this mystery. This is a great read and even better to listen to through Audible.

good book

very enjoyable story by one of my favorite writers. the reader was good and I enjoyed listening to her.

Excellent work. The story kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. it was very difficult to stop listening. I can't wait for the next elemental story.

enjoyable fantastical read.

narrator did a great job with a variety of characters. dialects. and accents. lackey builds on exusting characters from other elemental masters books. i was just wondering if we werepuld see Nan and Sarah again when i saw the preorder message both on Amazon and Audible. i ordered both versions. very satisfying tale. credible villains and heros. will listen to and read again

Excellent for an old English type

I love sherlock Holmes. the first couple were a little rough but it picked up and the story was magnificent. I love the elementals fantasy aspect. it brought something different to a modern tale.

Once again, the elemental masters John and Mary Watson are joined with the girls Nan and Sara and their birds on the Hunt for evil.

Have always liked this author. There are some gems in this one, had a great good laugh when they showed up. Glad I decided to listen to this one. The story would do fine without those particular scenes but I am glad they were put in. You go girl!!!

Not my favorite.

Not enough Sarah, Nan and the birds. Too much Necromancer. Not much meat to this story as the others and ,I have them all.😈
