Excellent story!
Loved it and can’t wait for the next to come out. Narrator did a great job! Although, I agree with another review that the Kings voice should have been done by the epilogue voice throughout the book. That would be better. Still a great performance!

Captivating Story, I stayed up until 4am listening because it was just that good!
I genuinely don’t want this to come off as bragging, it’s just a fact, I read and listen to a lot of books, And this book’s FMC has just entered my top three list. I’ll update this review after I have some more time to process because I have so much to say but need to figure out where to start. I just needed to review and recommend first because I really think you should listen to this book. I am impatiently waiting for book two to be released.

Good story,
I wish the male narrator had voiced the king through the whole book, instead of just doing the epilogue. I think it would have added so much more to the listening experience.

Too much inner dialogue
Liked the plot, but way way way too much inner dialogue!! Also, the main character complains when she’s not getting attention, but pushes the king away when he gives it to her. Super annoying.

Interesting concept
I didn't like how the narrator kept changing accents for the same character. I really like the story premise, but something was lacking for me. I think there wasn't enough chemistry between the love interests.
