Publisher's Summary
Have you ever seen a planet invaded by rampaging space mutants from another dimension or Nazi dinosaurs from the future?
Don't let this happen to you!
Rifts happen, so you should be ready when universes collide. A policy with Stranger & Stranger can cover all of your interdimensional insurance needs. Rated "Number One in Customer Satisfaction" for three years running, no claim is too big or too weird for Tom Stranger to handle.
But now Tom faces his greatest challenge yet. Despite being assigned the wrong - and woefully inadequate - intern, Tom must still provide quality customer service to multiple alternate Earths, all while battling tentacle monsters, legions of the damned, an evil call center in Nebraska, and his archnemesis, Jeff Conundrum. Armed with his Combat Wombat and a sense of fair play, can Tom survive? And will Jimmy the Intern ever discover his inner insurance agent?
It's time to kick ass and adjust claims.
Adam Baldwin (Firefly, Chuck) performs Larry Correia's madcap interdimensional tale of underwriting and space travel, where the only thing scarier than tentacle monsters is a high deductible.

More than a year after she helped save the world from the Sparnaxian invasion, Andrea Vernon is in a good place. Her boss is giving her greater responsibility and she’s getting to travel a lot (although her fill-in is hopeless at making coffee); things could be getting even more serious with her 8’ 4” superhero boyfriend, The Big Axe; and she has a really fun new BFF, Never More. Small issue, though, with that last item - Never More is a supervillain bent on world domination, and it looks as if nothing can stop her.

Story
The tide is turning against the colonists in the Revolutionary War, and 18-year-old Elizabeth Morris cannot sit by idly. Quietly disdainful of her Tory parents, who drag her along to society events and welcome a British soldier into their home during their occupation of New York City, Elizabeth decides to take matters into her own hands. She realizes that, as a young woman, no one around her believes that she can comprehend the profound implications of being a nation at war - she is, effectively, invisible. And she can use this invisibility to her advantage.

Story
Is bourbon the quintessential American liquor? Bourbon is not just alcohol - the amber-colored drink is deeply ingrained in American culture and tangled in American history. From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Every life reaches that crucial intersection, the place where you must choose your fate, or have it chosen for you. Unnecessary political jabs
The first time I was like "did he really just say that?" and the second time I was like "this seems like a fine time to move on to something better."
Overall, this isn't bad. Overall, it isn't good either. Total fluff piece that takes time to protest the fact that we only got one season of Firefly. Quite a few laugh out loud moments. Straightforward, predictable and without any real tension or suspense, it's good popcorn listen if you can get past the author's political cheap shots.
But, I can't, so moving on. According to other reviews, if I'd kept listening I'd have a far more negative review. Sounds like it gets much worse. (P.S. Very short for the price.)

Superb Laugh Out Loud High-Speed, Utter Absurdity!
This one does exactly what it says on the tin, if you like the sound of the publisher’s blurb you are going to love it. Inter-space hi jinks and an insurance agent super hero. The humour is constant. The opening scenes had me laughing from the get go and the laughter continued with impressively high frequency for the whole two hours.
If you get this kind of humour then it’s great fun and Master Correia drags in many well-known personalities and even finds time to poke fun at himself in a variety of ways. One person that definitely gets the humour is Adam Baldwin who gives it the full Scooby Doo and no mistake!
Nothing is sacred, most of Europe and Asia is gone within the first ten minutes and everyone from John Wayne to a Balrog gets dragged in during this all-too-brief adventure. The Balrog’s “predicament” I found seriously funny along with the help system on the Combat Wombat!
On top of all that it’s free, at least for now! What can possibly go wrong? If you want a laugh just get it. The only people I wouldn’t recommend this to are call centre managers . . .

Derivative, childish, but adult..
Drawing on the vast sum of popular culture (as long as it's within the presumably short 20 year frame of reference of the author), this book reads like teen fiction with adult language sprinkled throughout in an attempt to place it in the grown up section.
Seriously poor and lazy writing and at times frankly embarrassing in its ass-kissing towards some dubious characters (such as the narrator, who just so happens to be the president of the USA in the book.. Get a room!)

Brilliant and Witty with brain on or off :)
So having listened to some pretty heavy sci-fi recently i really needed someone lighter to listen to and this appeared so i though i would give it a try. I was hooked from the start. Its very very very funny on a lot of levels and you really dont need to plug your brain in to listen. Not that its not clever.
I would recommend this for anyone who likes things likes things like Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy or Any of the Jim Butcher books.

If you are looking for a deep insightful book move on, really what are you thinking. fun, silly just what you would think from the title.

Absolutely brilliant
This really was a laugh out loud experience. The story was extremely funny and Adam Baldwin was brilliant. His voice recreations and ability to read the book as it had been intended was marvellous. I will be listening again to this. A must and now a favourite.

Not very funny
The references to our world were heavy handed and the "fun" of the story wasn't there for me. There's a kind of bitter "aren't young people dumb nowadays" take to a lot of the jokes. It might not be a bad book but it just didn't hit my sense of humour at all which is a shame because I normally like quirky oddball stuff.
Adam Baldwin did a fantastic job narrating though!

Overall, more than adequate
Loved the humor, but the story/plot lost my interest for a bit in the middle. Did draw me back with referencing MHI, fans and concealed weapons.

Tacky USA partisan attempt at comedy
The comedy is pretty obvious and not very funny. The “liberals are stupid” overtones are just boring. Primary school educated trailer park folks will lap it up though. The author is totally just a sellout whore, pandering to a specific market of stupid.

Hilarious!
Very entertaining! I love the pop culture references - especially Firefly! I bought it mostly to listen to Adam, and I was not disappointed at all! will there be a sequel?

Worth a listen!
The story is a bit infantile, but still fun the way through. Adam Baldwin's performance is the real highlight, and worth the 2 hours. He really brings the story to life...every multiverse!!

Literal tears of laughter.
I started listening to this at work, had to stop after 15 minutes so I could save it for the rest of the family on the next car trip.
Gales of laughter for the entire time.
I give it a 10 for customer service. 😂
