Amber is a young videographer who has landed her dream job. She is to produce a web series based on a late-night talk radio show dealing with the unexplained. She is a huge fan of the show, and its host, Jack Owens, who she hopes to help reveal the world’s most cryptic secrets. The first secret she reveals is Jack’s. He doesn’t believe any of this crap. To him, the show is just a cushy job that allows him to support himself and his wife without having to try very hard. He doesn’t want to leave his house, go anywhere near the things he’s reported on or the people who come on his show, who he thinks, or at least hopes, are liars. But go near them, he will! And so will you! Join Jack and Amber as they encounter: monstrous creatures, scientific anomalies, shadowy conspiracies, secretive agencies, medical abnormalities, ancient curses, life after death and/or the key to immortality (Yes! Both of those things)! All that, and some really creepy kids! Listen to this book, and you’ll agree, “That’s Not Right."

Exactly what I always hope for in a scott meyer book. Actually had me laughing out loud. Luke Daniel's is the perfect pick for narration as well. Well done.

Thank you Scott Meyer

Gotta say, of all the stories in this book, I think I loved the small-cano one the most!

Fun, light and a little bit crazy

I wasn't sure if I would like this one because conspiracy theories aren't usually my cup of tea but it's still a great time. A road trip through the different facets of American craziness with some thoughtful commentary along the way. I also really loved the blooper reels at the end!

Another fun adventure to add to the Meyer collection

The story started off well, but about half way through one of the plot twists just took me out of the story. The ending actually ruined the story for me. It sends the wrong message.

As usual, great narration

Fun story, hoping for a sequel. Great narration as always and make sure to stay to the end for the bloopers.

Luke Daniels performance is top notch, bringing the book to life and risk of drawing too much attention on the train due to uncontrollable laughter.

the setup of the book makes it feel more like a serial, each episode being standalone where you bond with the main characters (or wanting to scold them...)

overall the episodic parts and separation help with the "that's not right feeling" with "that's not right" you might get at some points, it passes through and returns to be enjoyable and comedic.

also, if your neighbor claims to have a small volcano on their property... while you are rolling your eyes... get some extra insurance

Great performance! fun time to be had

I've been a long time fan of Scott Meyer and absolutely loved this book. Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical on the premise of the story, but within just a few chapters all skepticism melted away. It was funny, fast paced, and excellent character development. Don't pass this one by!

I loved it!

Quite a clever setup with different small stories, some quite interesting, some not so much. It´s very well edited, fantastic narrator and all technical things are top notch. It´s a lot of "fluff" and fillers and a bit short.

Pretty good, a bit short perhaps
