Very different from other Kane novels.

I love Alexander C Kane. I really love Andrea Vernon. This novel is VERY dark. Well written as all of his other novels, however, very dark. Maybe because this book totally captures our human nature and it can be too close to the truth, As other reviewers have said this very dark, We have warned you.

Sad, dark, uplifting, wonderful

I enjoy when an author or other creative person explores a different vibe. I am a big fan of everything Mr. Kane has put out so far, and this darker, less comical, version of heroic, chaotic, flawed characters was no exception. I look forward to following every old or new avenue this author takes.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL TITLE FROM KANE

Mr. Kane is becoming one of my favorite authors of modern fiction. This story has all the character growth and enjoyable voice as his other titles. Mr. Aiello does a fantastic job with narration as well. I highly recommend along with the rest of his Audible library.

Engaging and nuanced first contact story

Engaging and action packed as well as thoughtful with complex people. I liked how no one was strictly good or bad, just people put in crap situations who then had to make tough choices. Really enjoyable story!

Good audio book

Alien invasion story from a different point of view with the Great characters . Itwas very well preformed.
