Publisher's summary

There's a new squad in town... Seniors Phyllis Habernackle and Char Bailey are witches with a problem. Dealing with the recent loss of one of their oldest and dearest college friends, the women discover the dearly departed has bequeathed her estate to them! Unfortunately, she didn't leave it only to them. She also left it to two other old witches.

Decades ago, the five women had been inseparable while together attending the Paranormal Institute for Witches, situated high in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in cozy, Aspen Falls, Pennsylvania. But thanks to a betrayal no one saw coming, they've been feuding ever since.

Now the four witches, along with one geriatric mother, must come together to discover what tore them apart all those years ago and unravel a new mystery that is bigger than any of them could have ever anticipated.

Will it pull them closer together? Or will the wedge that kept them apart for decades widen and ruin their friendship forever? For fans of The Witch Squad Cozy Mystery Series - this new spin-off features an off-beat cast of hilarious witches that will have you laughing out loud. Rejoin old friends, Phyllis, Char, and Vic, and meet new friends Loni Hodges and Gwyn and Hazel Prescott. Plus enjoy cameo appearances by some of your favorite characters from The Witch Squad. Some mature language is present in this book.

Love It!

Easy, funny and enjoyable book. It's not serious and I got quite a few chuckles. I can't wait to read book two.

Story boring anD reading oh so bad.

The story is boring. Seemed a lot of verbiage was unneeded.
The read is not in tune with the characters. I couldn’t even finish it.

Annoying voice

The voice of Gwyn was very annoying. Hard to listen to with the whine. The other characters had good voices but hers was awful. Narrator needs to find a different voice for that character.

Good story line and I like how it ties in with the witch squad series.

That Old Witch

The book may have been good, but the narration by Cathy Cunningham Fennel, made it painful to listen to.Gwen and Hazels voices were just terrible. When the narator just READ it was good.A witch coven from their college days sets out to prove one of their own was murdered.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Can't get enough of this series.

This was one of the best 1st in series books I've ever read. The character's are not your typical 20 or 30 something cozy mystery character's, these ladies are grandmother's and even better, they're witches. The author does such a wonderful job of handing an ensemble cast and representing the daily challenges of aging. The humor in this book is incredible and the story is well plotted. Can't wait to read the next book.
