Do Not Use for Texas RE Exam Prep.

Title states "Texas real estate license" but only mentions Texas during the first chapter (the introduction). Every chapter after defines key terms, speaks about the key terms / topic for a few minute and gives a practice quiz.

On a second listen I noticed every-time a "state specific" law or regulations was mentioned instead of stating Texas' specific policy it would simply say "check your state's local real estate policy". Essentially, I realized it really wasn't specific to Texas.

The only reason I didn't give it "1-start" is because the book was generally helpful in helping me prepare for exams and learning terms, but I purchased it specifically for the Texas RE exam, and in that section, it was not helpful.

It is not limited to Texas Real Estate

There are many statements like, "many states __ is legal/illegal." I bought this book to learn about Texas specifically I did not want an entire Real Estate Course. I already took that. So this book might be fine if your real estate course is not making sense because they sound like they may be able if you were starting from the beginning. But if you just missed passing the state portion by one question this book will waste your time.

Can't say the word Realtor correctly but otherwise good book

Overall good book, easy to follow. I bought this to review for my Brokers license. Got really really annoyed at the mispronouncing of the word "Real-tor" not "Real-a-tor" there is no a in the middle. Ok rant over.

Meaty book with good data that really goes over all the info in detail. Easy enough to listen to but it could be very overall a bit term and definition driven.

Everything I expected but there was more

Only thing I wish was done in this book is at the end all the practice questions reviewed upon.

Helped me out a lot.
